april

jeremy and i took a road trip in april...we went to charleston for a long weekend and a friend's wedding...we were able to see several friends and explore charleston and folley beach...

and more weddings...this time we were with brian & lauren (lauren's brother was the one who was getting married :))



folley beach is not the same as our usual beach but it's very pretty too in it's own way...i was a little disappointed that we didn't get to walk to the lighthouse this time
(ashley...it was a lot cooler in april than when we walked to it that july!!)

i have no good excuse for the long absence...

we celebrated riley and emma's birthdays at the end of february and beginning of march with the family...
we played a lot of guitar hero and finished the day with laser tag!!










the weekend after easter we celebrated riley's baptism...it was a very special weekend!!

half birthdays

we celebrate half birthdays! i can't really remember when we started that but it's fun...especially when you are celebrating 29 & a 1/2! which we did last weekend!!

we start with ashley's birthday/half birthday on 7/12 & 1/12...then mine on 7/15 & 1/15...and last is sara's on 7/19 & 1/19...we like to think about them as "week long celebrations"

fyi...there will be an official trip/vacation to mark 30 & a 1/2 :)

i thought everyone might enjoy seeing our "official" ramsey family photo this year...it was quite an ordeal over thanksgiving to get this pulled off...this is one of the few that were ok to post!

(for those of you who don't already know the ramseys...L to R.. erik (jeremy's brother) & sarah (his wife), rik (jeremy's dad aka "daddy rik"), nancy (jeremy's mom aka "nanny") then jeremy & I & riley and emma are in front...trying their best to smile normally-that turned out to be quite difficult!)

lots to catch up on...

it's been a while since i've had time to sit down and work on a post, jeremy has now started back to school full time and i'm working and everything just gets busy so fast! but here's a quick update...
it seems like the holidays flew by this year...we spent almost a week in Memphis with both of our families! It was great to see everyone and play...nothing too exciting just the usual craziness... :)





if you can imagine-riley & emma kept us all quite entertained!



we got to spend new years' with our good friends the Partins! here's the group...Brian & Lauren have two sweet, sweet girls, Sidney & Ella!
