graduation

this was on graduation day from puppy kindergarden class (we passed :))

little babies

this little baby has been occupying all of my free time lately & his name is Benson (see previous posts for the x-mas morning video :)) he is a golden doodle.

here are some recent pictures...it's hard to tell here but he has doubled in size since x-mas morning! he was 3 months old on sunday. we're not really sure how big he is going to be...but he's very sweet & very mischievous






we think he'll look something like this (this was a dog we met at the park-he is also a golden doodle...)

one of jeremy's long time friends, scott brasher, composed the score for the new movie Billy: the early years!!! scott is a very talented composer and has a wonderful family...they have taken care of jeremy for a long time and have welcomed me into their lives too! i always have fond memories of scott's music...he gave us several songs that he'd composed to use in our wedding ceremony...
the world premerie of the movie is tomorrow night (for nashville folks the premerie is open to the public as a fund raiser for the Nashville Film Festival)...the movie opens in limited release next weekend and then everywhere soon after that!

we tried something new...bosu class tonight at our Y...it was pretty challenging & a really good workout!



the entire 30 mins is set up around exercises on the bosu ball & (for those of you like myself who are not up on your exercise terminology...bosu stands for "both sides up")

sushi

there's a small restaurant in a little strip mall in brentwood close to our house... it's called peter's sushi-thai-it's really good!

we ate there tonight & sat about 2 feet away from nicole kidman and keith urban~i was impressed :) sorry no pictures!

my two observations: nicole kidman is very tall & i didn't think you were supposed to eat sushi when you are pregnant??

jeremy finished finals last week...another semester done & he made the dean's list! yeah! have a good weekend!
i'll try to not have such a long absence next time...

april

jeremy and i took a road trip in april...we went to charleston for a long weekend and a friend's wedding...we were able to see several friends and explore charleston and folley beach...

and more weddings...this time we were with brian & lauren (lauren's brother was the one who was getting married :))



folley beach is not the same as our usual beach but it's very pretty too in it's own way...i was a little disappointed that we didn't get to walk to the lighthouse this time
(ashley...it was a lot cooler in april than when we walked to it that july!!)

catching up...

i have no good excuse for the long absence...

we celebrated riley and emma's birthdays at the end of february and beginning of march with the family...
we played a lot of guitar hero and finished the day with laser tag!!










the weekend after easter we celebrated riley's baptism...it was a very special weekend!!
